How to install

Common questions

Quick answers to what most boaters ask before signing up.

What if the forecast is wrong?

We're transparent when conditions change — that's why you get updates at 5 PM, 9 PM, and 6 AM. If the morning report shifts because overnight observations changed the picture, you'll see why. We're calibrating constantly based on subscriber feedback and what actually happens on the water. No forecast is perfect, but ours is built specifically for boaters making real decisions.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account page in two taps. You keep access through the end of your billing period, and there are no fees, no questions, and no friction. We don't believe in trapping subscribers.

What if I boat in multiple regions?

Your subscription includes every coastal region in Florida - Gulf, Keys, and Atlantic. Switch between them anytime from the menu - same login, same cost. Any new regions we add are included automatically.

Is this an app I download?

It works as one. Boating Window is a Progressive Web App — you install it from your browser to your home screen in under a minute, then it opens like any other app. No App Store, no Google Play, no permissions hassle.

Where does the data come from?

NWS marine forecasts, NOAA tide stations, NDBC offshore buoys, MyFWC red tide reports, and direct observation from local sources. We synthesize everything into one decision so you don't have to check four apps and still guess.

What about the founding member pricing?

$9/month is locked for as long as your subscription stays active. New subscribers later will pay $15/month. If you cancel and come back, you'll be on the standard rate.
